Fall Fair Photos

Every year, I send in pictures to fall fairs around my county. I did great last year, hopping to do better this year, knowing what to expect. Unfortunately, I didn't do so well. I mean I could have done better. Always time for improvement. I have the pics that I sent in this year for you to see! Enjoy! Look at the captions to see their placings.

My New Friends!

Have you ever watch a spider create one quarter of his web for 45 minutes? Ever planning to? I didn't until yesterday when I went out with my camera and took a few pics. (THIS BLOG POST IS NOT FOR YOU IF YOU DISLIKE SPIDERS!) And I am willing to share some that I took. If you don't like the thought of spiders just skip to the end when I met another fuzzy insect today!

So today I went out and met a new friend. A little 1/2 inch yellow caterpillar. I ran back into my house to grab my camera and met him a few feet away! I find it very cool and interesting how the spider knew how and when to build his web. Yea I know that he's probably done it before but it took him quite a long time to get it finished. And the caterpillar. Where was he going? Hm .. mysteries. such tiny creatures but amazing things they do. Sure makes someone smile and think. Enjoy!

Fall

I know its still August but with the cold weather Ontario is getting... it hard to decide if its summer or fall! The leaves have fallen and others are turning red. A blueberry was tossed into the oven. 18 Celsius weather has been hanging around for a week now. I would consider it fall. I love going for Autumn walks when the sun sets. So nice and peaceful. Jeans and fashion boots have come out. Yes, the rakes are still in the shed, but any day now! School is just around the corner which means my birthday too! I love this weather! Anyway I'm gonna go enjoy a nice warm blueberry pie. :)

Summer Fun

Just the other day, we decided a BBQ would be great for such a day. It was sunny, not too hot but just right, and everyone just wanted to be outside. This summer has been GREAT. Soccer like 4 times a week, not too hot weather, and BBQs! Now who doesn’t like BBQs? The grass was smelling like t had been freshly cut. Great signs of summer. :)

I brought my rabbit outside to enjoy it as well. Then me and my sisters set up the croquet. I won first proudly with the colour red. :) We were going to play another game but then we were called for dinner. But before dinner, I was hopping to take some pictures... Oops. I have some of Rose though, so, enjoy (Like she did with this great weather)!

Go!! Faster!!

Yesterday I was outside doing some yard work until my sister ran up and told me to come here. I started walking towards her then stopped, spun around, ran inside, and grabbed my camera. :) Usually if someone says "come here!", it's pretty cool. After I got back outside, I headed to my sister who was kneeling on the ground. Staring at something. As I came closer, I saw a snail. My sister watched it as it moved v-e-r-y slowly. I shrugged and decided I might as well get a shot of him. I see snails a lot but never really took a picture of them. Hmm. Anyway, they turned out pretty cool! Here they are!

Once Again...

Once again I noticed the colour in the sky last night. I ran to grab my camera and headed down the beach. And it was beautiful. There were no clouds (disappointingly) but the orange was very nice. A whole lot of people were down there taking picture after picture. I sure fit in! And way here they are and then I have awful news to share...

Pretty eh? Ahem... now for the bad news. Good for the Manchester City fans but bad for the Chelsea FC fans... As some of you may know, the end of the season of the EPL is finished. Also, yes, I am with the Blues (nickname for Chelsea). Anyway, I guess both the Champions League and the Premier League were not meant for Chelsea to win. :( There is always next year. Liverpool was SUPER close and all they need to win was if Man City lost. But, they won. Chelsea placed first in the standings most of the season but after Petr Cech's shoulder dislocation in the semi-final vs Athletico Madrid in the Champions league, I think that’s the reason that cost them the victory. I am not saying Schwarrzer is a bad goalie. He made an amazing save vs Liverpool. Anyway, congrats to the Manchester City fans. :)

My Rabbit

I find it quiet interesting and funny at the same time when I bring my beloved rabbit (Rose) into pet stores and such. Like the time when I decided I'd bring to her to a weekly parade. It was exciting for me but Rose was kinda nervous. She just snuggled right in to me to get away from the noises surrounding her. But after the parade, we just walked around and then Rose got the attention. People came and asked every question the could. I was wondering why people are so fascinated in a rabbit... Haven't they seen one before?  But later I understood that people don’t really bring pet rabbits to parades... Rose got into newspapers and everything! It was neat. Such a tiny thing can be so noticeable. :)

My little Mini-Rex, Rose is celebrating her 9th birthday on November 1st. :D And to think her life expectancy was age 6... Anyway, I (once again) snuggled with her and got some adorable pictures. Totally going to submit them to the Fall Fair! Enjoy!
(The fourth pic is my total favourite)

A Milo Adventure

So today we have my grandparents' dog again, Milo.  I grabbed Yeti (I believe I have shared him with you before) and tied him to Milo's back. As fun as it may sound; it didn't work. I then took a smaller stuffed animal and tied him to Milo's back. He didn't mind at all.

Milkshake

So today I looked at my chocolate Easter bunny and thought that he could taste REALLY good with a little bit of cream and ice in a blender... Hmm... Should I risk the preciousness of such gorgeousness? YES!! Even though it was a wild change, I took it (that’s totally me). So into a pot three chunks of milk chocolate from my Easter bunny, and onto an element on the stove. Turned it to medium and watched the chunks melt into the pot. A little while later I dumped the melted chocolate into a blender with some ice and some cream (YUM). I flipped the switch and awaited till the ice was all crunchy and the cream and chocolate swirled around. And ta-da!! The preciousness of such gorgeousness was suddenly turned around and suddenly the smoothy was the preciousness. If that make sense... Anyway, I got some shots cause I just HAD to share my preciousness.

Step 1: Take chunks of your bunny.
Tip: Try to resist the temptation of eating it. Did I resist it?... Maybe...

Step 2: Put a little pot into a bigger pot, and fill the bigger pot with water. Then put your chocolate into the smaller pot.
Tip: Turn on your element. Do not forget this, cause you may be there for a while.

Step 3: Put your chocolate into the blender, then a little bit of cream, then the ice.
Tip: Put the ice in last, then it has time to break apart. If you did what I did and put it in first, it will take a while.

Step 4: Stir around the blender for there might be chocolate stuck on the sides.
Tip: It's smart to stir because when the chocolate touches the ice, it freezes.

Step 5: Now go sit down and relax with your Chocolate Cream-shake. :)

(here's some pics)

In this picture above, you can see the chocolate on the sides. Be sure to scrape it off!

One thing I wanted to share is this: Readers who only read this blog thinking that the pictures and posts are the same on my other blog, I share completely different pictures. Also, every time I write a post on this blog, I usually have something else to share on Paramount: http://eplchelsea.blogspot.ca/. :)
Anyways, I hope to post again soon!
